"Survivor(wo)man" One of Randy's favorite televison programs is "Survivorman" on the Discovery Channel. The show chronicles the host's effort to survive in different regions around the world for a period of no less than seven days living off the land. Well, it seems that his enthusiasm for the program is rubbing off on Rachel! One day, she made herself a "shelter" out of big pillows and played "Survivorman!" At one point during her play, she prayed, "God, protect me from the animals!" In this recent photo, she is once again playing...you guessed it.."Survivorman." Here, Randy and the kids are sitting in their shelter and eating "survival food" that they foraged around the kitchen- graham crackers, animal cookies, and cheese! When they had finished eating, Rachel said, "Okay, lets throw the garbage in the woods!" Randy corrected her and now is considering watching a more "green" program like "Planet Earth" which is another one of her favorites.
