A Week of ....

Rachel: "Mommy, you're the best in my whole life!"
How could you resist such a comment! How could one live up to that?

We had a week off to spend time together as a family. We had so many aspiring plans to do so many things like visit some fun places, finish Randy's clad class, clean up the computer/Amanda's room and rest. You know how at the beginning of the week, you have a "list" but by the end of the week, you're just thankful for the two things you were able to cross off???? We had some really fun days but we also had some rough days with the girls. Amanda was a bit grouchy this week...her rash came back on her face and she was not sleeping well. We continue to deal with Rachel's behavior and had to cancel some plans at the last minute because we did not want to reward her negative behavior. On the positive side, by the end of the week, Rachel did have a few good days and we're all learning how to deal with it in a more constructive way and Amanda is a happy camper again!
