Everyone needs a juice break from the sun and fun! It was so hot that day we were getting burned!

Rachel and I

Snow Angel

Angle from a six year old.....it's nice though that we can finally get some shots together!

Amanda getting some air....training for the future winter olympics!

Rare treat for them.........

"Of course I'm smiling! Daddy's doing all the work for me. He drags up the tube for me everytime and I just slide down and then do it all over again and again!"

Amanda and Randy enjoying time together.

Amanda, me and Rachel all in one tube!

Sisters tubing together.....

"Look! I made it to the top of the summit!"

Rachel posing.....

Near the end of the day, they found a snow fort that someone had made earlier and were sliding down on it and also throwing snowballs at each other...more like snow pebbles!

Amanda fell asleep a minute after we got into the car. They were so exhausted from a whole day of playing in the snow. Rachel on the other hand, was happyily eating Sunchips and drinking juice. That girl does not sleep during the day!
We got a great deal for one night stay, free breakfast and lunch and tickets into the snowpark! It was fun and best of all, easy for the parents! Yeah! The weather was perfect and it even got hot when we were running around! It was Amanda's first time in the snow! She loved it and esp enjoyed the tubing. The night before, we visited Sonora downtown and saw some really
old buildings! We found a teacher store(can't escape our profession!) and the kids had a great time playing in there. We ate dinner at 4:45 at this Italian restaurant because we didn't know what else to do! At around 7 pm, Peter said he was going for ice cream because there was nothing to do! The girls stayed in the room and Randy played Scrabble with them.
