April-Rachel's Birthday

This year for the first time since Rachel was 3, she did not have a party. She wanted to invite two of her close school friends for an outing and of course her all important cousin had to be included! We had pizza, ceramics painting, and yogurt. It was low key and great! It gave me the chance to reflect on what is really important, this gift of life that God has given to our family and inspite of all that has happened to us this year, God is powerful and He reigns. Amanda enjoying two big pieces of cheese pizza! This made up for the fact that she was sad she couldn't sit with the big girls....

Painting cupcakes, butterflies and hearts....Randy decided to make me a coffee mug....I went shopping with Amanda....lest her three year old body involuntarily collides with ceramics!

Enjoying some yogurt after all that hard work....

We wanted them to take a picture in front of some flower bushes but they were so afraid of the possibility of bees that they wanted to pose in front of the trash bin!
