September Beach House Trip

It was by far the most relaxing trip we've had since becoming a family of four. We rented a beach house with some friends in Watsonville...and basically stayed there all weekend without "venturing" out(no..I take that back. The "ladies" did venture out for a morning to Carmel to go purse and cake shopping!) The beach was right below the house as you can see below...but the only access route was to go two houses down and then travel down a pathway with MANY stairs..can I just say that I got quite a good workout on my legs that weekend??

Amanda enjoyed the beach a little bit more this time than over the summer in SAn Diego...and she managed to keep her white shoes white!!!

Imagine playing on the beach with no one else!!!!! It was so surreal~!

Our first late afternoon there, after we unloaded the car, we took our first walk down to the street and saw a sea otter near the water's edge!!!

Favorite Memory: Watching/listening to Rachel have fun "riding" the waves with Randy. We've never heard laugh so loud and uninhibited. She didn't care that her jeans got all soaked and she was cold....in fact, it was funny when her jeans got so heavy and wet...they kept falling off her bottom and she had to keep "hiking" them up every few seconds!
