Amanda-18 months

While Rachel and I went out to lunch together at Sushi Maru's, Amanda was busy at home with Randy lining up all of her friends for a playdate on the couch.

Today Amanda turns 18 months. Where does the time fly? We were brought back to our pregnancy period when we weren't sure if Amanda was going to be healthy or not. Everytime we see an advertisement for Lucy Packard Children's Hospital, we are reminded of the gift of health and well-being for her. And yet, how would we have responded to her and to God otherwise? Would we still be as thankful for this gift of life? How different would our lives be today? What is God asking of us? Do we take everyday for granted or are we making full use of each day that He has give to us for Him?
