Disneyland Day #2 and #3-June 2010
Day #2 of Disneyland was a "repeat" morning of their favorite rides. That would include Dumbo because Rachel kept messing with us...she would pull the lever up and down really fast to try to get us sick....more success with Randy than with me! Amanda really liked the Winnie the Pooh ride and it helped that there was no line for it! We also went on the Buzz Ride multiple times.
Donald Duck gone casual for the day!
These Chipmunks were a little bit naughty and rambunctious!
They were thrilled to take a picture with Mickey's best friend...
Balloon ride....up, up and away!
This is one of my favorite pictures...my lovely family with their 3-D glasses...Amanda asked if she could take it home. She was not afraid of the show at all, even the part where the seat moved from the "cockroaches" rolling under her!
After riding the carousel at California Adventure like 10 tens in a row, they enjoyed a delicious ice cream cone! We were a little sad without Daddy this afternoon but the ice cream made it better. He was off taking pictures and meeting important people, without us!

This picture made me a little sad. Our oldest girls here together look so grown up....in ten years or so, they'll be off to college, the place where Becky and I met!
Enjoying some food and laughs at Mimi's Cafe.
Becky's newest joy, Katie! Cute, eh?
Goofing off at the hotel!
This meal at Goofy's kitchen has become a yearly tradition for us!
Belle and Rachel
Mulan and the girls
Everyone loves goofing around with Auntie Sunny, also a part of our yearly tradition!
Look! I'm going to eat this entire hot dog by myself plus the pizza and mac and cheese that is already stored in my tummy!
Auntie Sunny can make Rachel pose!
No big deal...it's just a little girl posing for her family...no, it is. The last several years, Rachel has hated taking pictures. When forced to, you could tell she really disliked it. At times, comments would be made as to why we have so many shots of Amanda and it always made me feel sad. It wasn't that we didn't want to take pictures of Rachel but rather she was camera shy. My prayer for her has always been that she would be completely free to be whoever God has created her to be, to not be held down by anything. Here, I rejoice when I see her posing and smiling, because I know He hears me.
Their favorite part of Day #2 was going into the swimming pool at the hotel. We first went into the little one in the back where we enjoyed a private pool and lifeguard. It was fun splashing around and Rachel got to practice her swimming, swimming from one end of the pool to the other! Then we ventured over to the NeverLand Pool and realized why it was so crowded. The slides were so much fun! Even Amanda enjoyed it immensely. The only difficult part was I had to catch Amanda at the end of the slide each time because the pool was 4 ft deep. Rachel was able to barely stand tippy toes and she had to kind of tread after each slide down towards the edge of the pool. They didn't want to get out...I don't blame them but I wanted to get them ready for our dinnertime with Becky and her kids.
