"Heh, not bad for the first time!" "See, I can even pick up half a Cheerio!"

When we noticed that Amanda at eight months was quite skilled in picking up lint, hair and other misc items off the floor, it occured to us that she might be ready for Cheerios. On her first attempt, she had no problems picking it up but did have a bit of trouble landing it in her mouth, as it got kind of "wet" and sticky by the time it got near her mouth.
