Toddler Bed Readiness

Amanda tried to climb out of her bed several times so we thought she was ready for a toddler bed...she was soooo excited to help Randy assemble it...in fact, s he kept trying to stick those little metal knobs in every hole she could find and Randy had to keep digging them out so he could put the screws in there.

Persistent little worker, isn't she???

However...as the days rolled on, she was found to not be ready after all. She kept waking up because she likes to put her feet up on the rails during the night. So with the bed, she had no rails to lean on and would keept waking up as she tried to put her feet up on the wall....so back to the crib she went!..and thankfully she hasn't tried to climb out recently.
