I was blessed with a trip to Las Vegas with Becky before she gives birth to #3. This was our only chance for quite a while! We had so many plans to visit this place and that....however, we did what was truly needed: rested....talked...ate....repeat for 2 days! Eating a buffet with a girlfriend is definitely different from eating one with your family. You don't feel like you're shoveling food in your mouth to get your money's worth but you have no idea what you've been eating because you're too busy making sure your children are eating...not running around....and getting up again and again at their request for other food items! It was wonderful to sit there for hours and talk....and eat!

We did get a chance to see Phantom of the Opera-Vegas style! It was neat with all of the added special effects. The last time I saw it was over a decade ago and my mom brain has allowed me to forget a lot of the scenes! It was really enjoyable.
