God Is My Protector

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalms 28:7

God is our protector...

Today we were invited to the Hom Family Reunion...even though we're not Homs, Randy has known Norman and his family almost his entire life in Tucson! Rachel had great fun tie dying a shirt, playing with bubbles, doing crafts and playing on the playground. However, just as we were about to give Rachel a rice krispy treat, Randy asked just by habit if it had peanuts in it. And it did have peanut butter in it! He said he wasn't going to ask because who puts peanut butter in rice krispy treats???(it's the secret Hom ingredient!Upgrade your email with 1000's of emoticon icons)....And so we are thankful that God led Randy to ask otherwise it would have been quite scary for Rachel's peanut allergy.

Later that night, Randy was putting some stuff away in our trunk at my mom's house and the trunk door fell down on his head and scratched up his forehead. Thank God that it only bled a little bit and did not do more damage or scratch his eye. In fact, the girls had a good old time laughing at him because he had a bandage on his forehead...even my dad couldn't resist a chuckle. Unfortunately, Randy wouldn't let me take a picture of his head with the bandage so you'll have to use your imagination.
